The WTX-275-EXT is a state of the art 915 MHz wireless temperature transmitter designed for a wide range of applications especially in the food industry. This model has an external antenna that increases the signal by up to 6dB. Recommended for distance of over 50m in buildings with brick and steel construction.
- Mounts directly into fridges and freezers using internal Pt100 sensor plus the option for external Pt100 probes.

The WTX-275-EXT is a state of the art 915 MHz wireless temperature transmitter with extended range due to its external antenna. It has been designed for a wide range of applications especially in the food industry. It has been designed to go directly into fridges and freezers as well as having an external jack plug to accept Pt100 sensors.
It can be deployed adjacent to the point of measurement where this is required, such as measuring tank temperatures and the temperature of water in pipes.
The external antenna will increase the signal transmission strength by about 6dB, providing improved signal strength at the gateway and thus improving its range. It is intended for applications where it is likely the signal strength received at the gateway will be around -100 dBm to -110 dBm without the external antenna. It will improve the signal to around -93dBm to -103dBm, this extending the range substantially.
