The WS101-915M-SOS does not need a LoRaWAN sensor to be used. However, pairing it with a gateway provides additional benefits because of the cloud access such as having easy access to records of alarm triggers or actions, use the button with other LoRaWAN sensors and use the botton virtually anywhere at anytime.
