Ultrasonic thickness gel. A non toxic, water-based couplant gel that is used to obtain a perfect connection between two materials.

The gel removes the air-gap layer between the thickness gauge probe (transducer) and the material to be tested, to ensure a solid transmission of the ultrasonic sound wave pulse and echo.
Only a small amount of fluid is required to gain solid "coupling" or connection.
Supplied in a bottle with flip top for easy single use application.
