The TN480 is Apera's premium turbidity meter. Features include an infrared LED lamp, data storage for up to 200 measurement sets, data export (USB to PC) and calibration records. Supplied with calibration standards, three sample vials, polishing cloth, batteries, USB cable and silicone oil in hard carry case.

The Apera Instruments TN480 Portable Turbidity Meter is built with an infrared light source, using ISO7207 compliant nephelometric method (90 degrees), equipped with a large TFT colored screen, designed for reliable turbidity measurements from 0 to 1000 NTU in various applications both in-field and in-lab e.g. environmental monitoring, water treatment, beverage making, etc.
Supplied with calibration standards, three sample vials, polishing cloth, batteries, USB cable and silicone oil in hard carry case.

- 0.0 NTU Error Reminder: If the zero point is calibrated with contaminated 0.0 NTU standard solution, the measurement will have a negative error. The instrument can automatically recognize the negative error at the zero point and remind users to re-calibrate, as shown in the right figure. If the reminder appears again after calibration, it means that the 0.0 NTU standard solution is invalid and should be replaced.
