Regular price $2,299.90 AUD + GST
$2,529.89 AUD Inc. GST
The TH-174 with integrated DL-type Impact device and long nose, carry over the same advanced features and ergonomic design of the 170-series, but uses a long, needle point type impact device making it suitable for testing difficult to reach, tight locations such as gear teeth and stepped or recessed grooves etc.

This "Standard Complete" kit includes adds reference calibration hardness test block and hard carry case to standard kit items.

Standard kit comes with a pocket sized carrying case and incorporates a hardness impact probe, microprocessor and data display in a single, compact unit.

TH-174 provides exceptional reliability for a wide measuring range, and is capable of automatically converting and displaying measurements into Brinell, Rockwell, Leebs, Vickers and Shore hardness values.

Conforming to ASTM A956 standard, the TH-174 Portable hardness tester covers an extensive range of applications in the industry and supply the required test results, in almost every application, where bench-top hardness testers can not be used. As a result of following the Leebs rebound principle, the minimum requirements that have to be met in order to achieve accuracy with TH174, are minimum thickness of 3/8" (10mm) and weight of 11lb (5kg) for the samples. If your samples are thin or light-weight, you may consider our TH-172 portable hardness Tester.
