Please note: This kit only includes 1 sensor and 1 gateway. Please add additional sensors as required. GW100-4G-ANN is included in the purchase price (Valued at $240+GST annually).
Note: Additional WTX-275 sensors are available, each sold separately.Up to 120 such 915 MHz battery powered wireless temperature sensors can be handled by one GW-100-4G gateway.
Note: The WTX-275-EXT is also available and has an external antenna to increase signal by up to 6dB. Recommendedfor distance of over 50m in buildings with brick and steel construction.
The TMS-4G system is comprised of one or more WTX-275 Wireless Temperature Transmitters and a GW-100-4G Gateway which carries the data to the Hygeian Server over the internet via 4G. Up to 120 such 915 MHz battery powered wireless temperature sensors can be handled by one GW-100-4G gateway.
WTX-275 Wireless Temperature Transmitter:
The WTX-275 is a state of the art 915 MHz wireless temperature transmitter designed for a wide range of applications especially in the food industry. It has been designed to go directly into fridges and freezers as well as having an external jack plug to accept Pt100 sensors. It can be deployed adjacent to the point of measurement where this is required, such as measuring tank temperatures and the temperature of water in pipes.
- Mounts directly into fridges and freezers using internal Class B (+/- 0.3oC) Pt100 sensor.
- Solid construction, suitable for fridges and freezers.
- The WTX-275 mounts in a WTX-RCP magnetic receptacle.
- Very easy to deploy. No tools required.
- Powered by Lithium AAA batteries suitable for freezer temperatures.
- No interruption to work area when deploying these transmitters.
- External jack-plug to accept externally mounted 3 wire Pt100 sensors.
- Internal dipole antenna.
- Works with all GW-100 gateways.
- Distance in building interior: up to 100m.
- Distance in open line of sight: up to 500m.
- Up to 120 WTX series transmitters can operate with one GW100 series gateway.
GW-100-4G Gateway with 4G Internet Connection:
The GW-100-4G is a Gateway With 4G Internet Connection that receives the packets from WTX-275 and WTX-275-EXT and SPX-10 Food Probes, collates them, stores them temporarily, constructs a paylad which it uploads to the Hygeian cloud-based server using the Telstra 4G network.
If any of the packets are set to Immediate mode, they are uploaded immediately. This feature allows the GW-100-4G to quickly pass the measured values to the Hygeian Server, resulting in a responsive system without any delays. If the packets are all set to Continuous mode, they are uploaded once per minute as a single string.
The GW-100-4G connects to the Telstra 4G network and has an inbuilt 4G Telstra modem.
The GW-100-4G is powered by a 12V plugpack, supplied with the gateway. It has internal lithium batteries that will allow it to continue operating for up to 9 hours without mains power. So, the GW-100-4G will continue to process the packets received and transfer them to the internet. If the 4G network goes down, the GW-100-4G will store the received data packets and transfer them when the 4G network recovers.
