With this converter, computers can connect to serial devices over Ethernet. Its an ideal solution for people who need to monitor or access RS-232 based equipment remotely or to share them over a network. There is one 9-pin male RS-232 plug, an RJ-45 socket and a terminal block to wire up RS-485 or RS-422 connections. The device can be accessed remotely through a simple web interface.
