The SensorMine NEXUS IOT device is a secure universal wireless platform designed for robust long life sensing applications that connects to different types of sensors to monitor any type of environment such as urban settings, manufacturing, mining and agriculture.
- Has a built-in capability to monitor temperature, barometric air pressure readings, 3 axis vibration readings and dead reckoning GPS for accurate location in real time.
- Additional parameters such as dust levels, soil moisture, water level and vegetation growth can also be monitored using external sensors.

The SensorMine NEXUS IOT device is a secure universal wireless platform designed for robust long life sensing applications. The SensorMine NEXUS has built in capability to provide temperature, barometric air pressure readings, 3 axis vibration readings and dead reckoning GPS for accurate location under extreme conditions. Battery energy is measured and tracked to have a real time measurement of battery usage and to provide the lifetime remaining in the batteries.
An external accessories connector allows the SensorMine NEXUS to interface with many external sensors such as soil moisture probes, temperature probes, weather stations, water level probes, high sensitivity equipment vibration sensors and air quality sensors. The NEXUS accessories connector supports RS232, RS422, RS485, one-wire, analog and digital Inputs, regulated voltage output and can switch DC loads allowing a multitude of interface possibilities.
These external sensors can be powered from the SensorMine NEXUS internal battery to reduce setup complexity and save time.
The SensorMine NEXUS can communicate over distances up to and beyond 10km via the built in LoRa transceiver. For low range and high data rate applications, the SensorMine NEXUS can communicate via an ultra-secure WiFi connection utilising the latest Microsoft Sphere technology. Bluetooth BLE communications are also supported and can be customised to a given application.
The SensorMine NEXUS supports firmware over the air upgrades.
