The SNiP-PRP is 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRa, LoRaWAN, FSK or CAT-M1 communication of real-time precipitation and rainfall measurements for continuous environmental monitoring of a particular site.

The base SNiP-PRP integrates 1x AD-NODE with 1x PRP-02 Professional Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge to a site's unique network, communication and power requirements.

AD-NODE

The AD-NODE is designed for those requiring precision in their analogue and digital measurements. With a 24-bit ADC, the AD-NODE supports two RTDs, a 0 to 10V with compressing range and a 4 to 20mA input. Each of the four dry-contact digital inputs is capable of simultaneously sampling at 1 kHz, with periodic reporting. Settings on the device can be altered remotely via LoRaWAN or locally via USB.

PRP-02 Professional Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge

- The PRP-02 is a professional rain gauge sensor with a unique single spoon tipping bucket that is a reliable low cost high quality rain gauge ideal for small weather stations, rainfall measurement, irrigation/soil moisture management and drain water measurement in drip irrigation.
- A very accurate and reliable automatic rain gauge, the bucket is made in POM which a more dismissive material and therefore makes dust and dirt not stick so easily on the spoon and maximizes water release. The outer shell is made from STYROSUN which makes the surface easy to clean and the PRP-02's high quality plastic materials and a simple design make for a very long durability (10-20 years)
- It also has only one adjustment screw which makes it easy to recalibrate. All PRP-02 Professional Rain Gauges are manually calibrated, which gives you the guarantee for a very accurate measurement. Accuracy: +/- 2%.
- The electronic printed circuit board with individually tested and high quality reed switches protects against extreme weather conditions such as extreme frost or heat. This includes corrosion from salt water due to the PCB is coated with weather resistant varnish.
