The HI9147 is a rugged, water-resistant dissolved oxygen (DO) meter designed for aquaculture applications. The meter and probe use galvanic sensor technology where the electrodes potential difference drives the reaction, requiring no external voltage. Oxygen diffuses across the membrane and the system establishes a current proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen present. HI9147 comes with a galvanic, HDPE membrane caps, electrolyte fill solution, a protective shield, and sturdy carrying case.

IC-HI9147-04 Features
- Galvanic Measuring System, requiring no external voltage
- Silver cathode and zinc anode in an electrolyte solution with a polymer membrane
- Automatic calibration at one or two points to 100% and/or 0% saturation
- Altitude compensation up to 4000 meters with a 100-meter resolution
- Salinity compensation is adjustable from 0 to 51 g/L (ppt) with a 1 g/L resolution for the measurement of DO in brackish and sea water
- Auto end point mode freezes a reading on the display once a stable measurement is obtained
- Good Laboratory Practice allows users to recall calibration information
- Replaceable, pretensioned, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes with a screw cap design
