The HI981014 Pool Line tester is designed with many advance features at an economical price. The Pool Line tester offers automatic calibration to one or two points, automatic buffer recognition, calibrated buffer tags, stability indicator, low battery indicator, and selectable automatic shut off.
Its is ideal for checking the pH levels of swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas. The accurate reading of pH is critical to ensure that the chlorine is predominately in the hypochlorous acid form instead of the hypochlorite form, which is less effective at killing bacteria. The ideal pH for a pool is between 7.2 and 7.4.
The pH readings are displayed with a 0.1 pH resolution and with an accuracy of 0.2 pH. The HI981014 pH range is from 0.0 to 14.0 pH.

- Stability Indicator: An hourglass indicator is displayed on the LCD until a stable reading is obtained. Once a reading has stabilized then indicator will disappear to alert the user when the reading can be recorded.
- Automatic Shut-off: The meter can be set to automatically turn off after 8 minutes or 60 minutes to conserve battery life in the event that the meter is left on. The auto off feature can be disabled.
- Long Battery Life: The Pool Line pH Tester has an exceptional long battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery power is running low a low battery indicator is displayed.
