The Gossen Foto MavoMax monitors the intensity of the ambient light according to IEC 61223-2-5. The MavoMax fully meets the needs in all medical applications where constant illuminance for diagnostic monitors and viewing systems is required. The MAVOMAX 60 can also be used to monitor oom classes for medical tasks which are specified in the forthcoming DIN 6868-157 standard observed in diagnostic rooms, examination rooms with immediate diagnostics, dental diagnostic workstations and in teleradiology.
The MAVOMAX simplifies quality assurance for diagnostic monitors and light boxes in medical applications in accordance with DIN V 6868-57. At the same time, it can be used to monitor room classes for medical tasks which are specified in the forthcoming DIN 6868-157 standard.
Assures constant illumination and performs interior light monitoring at diagnostic workstations in accordance with DIN EN 61223-2-5 (QS-RL 20.11.2003), DIN V 6868-57 and DIN 6868-157.
The MAVOMAX is attached to the front edge of the monitor with double-faced tape and supplied with electrical power by connecting it to either an available
USB port or the included mains power pack via the permanently attached USB cable. The MAVOMAX is designed for continuous operation and is now ready for use.
The green LED indicates that ambient light is within the permissible range for the interpretation of findings. The red LED indicates that the brightness is not within the permissible range.
Using the MAVOMAX extends the interval specified in the standards for constancy testing of image displays to 6 months with regard to veiling luminance and maximum contrast.
