The Hydromette HB 30 is an electronic moisture meter for wood and set building materials. It is designed for precise measurements of sawn timber (up to 180 mm thick), particle boards, parquet flooring and hardened building materials.

The Hydromette HB 30 is an electronic moisture meter for wood and set building materials. It is designed for precise measurements of sawn timber (up to 180 mm thick), particle boards, parquet flooring and hardened building materials.
This kit includes a M 20 drive-in electrode, a M 6 stick in electrode, 10 replacement pins each (16 and 23 mm), mk 8 measuring cable and carrying case.

- Handy, pocket-sized instrument for quick and easy single and successive measurements
- Direct indication of wood moisture and structural moisture in % of dry weight (mass weight percent) via a 3-line LCD, resolution: 0.1 % or 0.1 C
- Two-step wood species selector for an automatic correction of measured values for over 300 species of wood
- Fully automatic instrument setting
- Power supply by 9 V dry cell or rechargeable battery (optional equipment)
- Dimensions: 140 [L] x 90 [W] x 42/50 mm [H], weight approx. 220 g

Specifications

- Measuring range (Wood): 4 - 30 % moisture content (m.c.) based on the resistance measuring method
- Measuring range (Structural Materials): 0 -80 digits (conversion into % of dry weight depending on building materials)
Compatible Electrodes
Adding these additional electrodes would allow you to measure other parameters such as the amount of surface moisture, dewpoint and temperature.
- B 50, B 60 and LB 70 - for measurement of moisture and location of moisture in building materials
- IR 40 EL probe - for surface temperature measurement, thermal bridging and dew point
