The Center 317 is the ideal handheld temperature and humidity monitor for doing room temperature and humidity readings. As the sensor is exposed when the pull up sleeve is down, it will respond rapidly to change, meaning you wont need to wait for a significant period of time to stabilise like you would with an internal sensor. This can be particularly useful to establish the performance of HVAC systems to adequately condition the air and to ensure areas are maintaining a set level of humidity.

It will also allow you to do a dew point and wet bulb temperature so you can determine if there are potential risks of undesirable condensation that may cause undue damage or mould. This is particularly useful in areas where mould can be a big concern such as bedrooms, bathrooms and pantries. It can also be used within sensitive storage areas to ensure they are operating at optimal conditions.
