The HOBO MX2309 Temp/RH/Solar Data Logger delivers advanced, research-quality environmental monitoring in a versatile and robust platform. Engineered to measure temperature, relative humidity, and global solar radiation—with integrated LI-COR LI-200R pyranometer—it is ideally suited for demanding applications in agriculture, environmental research, ecology, and energy sectors. Precise and reliable, the MX2309 ensures that professionals have access to high-quality data for critical decision-making.

Comprehensive Environmental Sensing

The HOBO MX2309 incorporates high-accuracy sensors to deliver simultaneous measurements of temperature, relative humidity, and solar radiation. The LI-COR LI-200R pyranometer provides solar radiation data with a typical calibration uncertainty of ±3%, supporting accurate determination of metrics such as Accumulated Solar Radiation (MJ/m²), Daily Light Integral (DLI, MJ/m²/day), Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD, kPa), and Dew Point.

Streamlined Bluetooth Data Management

Featuring integrated Bluetooth connectivity, the MX2309 enables seamless configuration and data download using the free HOBOconnect app on a mobile device. Wireless data offload is possible from distances up to 100 feet (30 meters), eliminating the need for direct cable connections and simplifying data access from remote or difficult-to-reach installations.

Durable, Field-Ready Construction

Designed for rigorous field use, the HOBO MX2309 is rugged and battery-powered, ensuring consistent performance across diverse environmental conditions. Its robust enclosure guards internal components against harsh elements, making it suitable for long-term monitoring in agriculture, forestry, energy, and other challenging settings.

Ease of Deployment and Operation

The logger’s compact design enables quick and flexible installation, whether in fixed or portable setups. With HOBOconnect, users can intuitively configure settings and manage data, reducing setup time and enhancing operational efficiency.

Applications

The HOBO MX2309 serves as a comprehensive solution for research and professional monitoring requirements, including microclimate assessment, crop management, ecological studies, and energy resource evaluation. Its research-grade precision and user-friendly features help optimise workflows and improve data-driven outcomes.
