The FT series Fruit Penetrometer measures the penetration and squashing of fruit pulp using an indenter tip of specific dimension, to give one of the most accurate tests available, with the resulting pressure being measured in pounds and kilograms.
This small and very manageable tool is perfectly fit to detect the ripeness and proper picking maturity of fresh fruit and vegetables in the field.
All penetrometers include a skin peeler and splash plate for convenient use.
