This Kit is the ideal solution if you want to know the local weather conditions on your farm. It allows you to measure evapotranspiration, local forecasts, rainfall, solar radiation, UV radiation and dewpoint. And for even greater control it alarms you when temperatures drop low.
Additionally you can add the complete soil moisture and temperature station to this kit and see what your crops are feeling!

The 6163AU wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus with 24-Hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield is the first and only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 300 m.
Includes Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor suite (ISS), and mounting hardware. ISS includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 12 m anemometer cable, solar radiation sensor, UV sensor, sensor mounting shelf, and solar panel.
Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in our patented, solar-powered, 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. Shield combines fan aspiration and passive shielding to minimize the effects of solar radiation.
ISS is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).
Wireless range is up to 300 m outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 60 to 120 m. Add wireless repeaters for distances up to 2.7 km.

The 6510USB WeatherLink software is the perfect piece to accompany the VantagePro 2 and Vantage Vue weather stations (weather station not included). The software makes it easy for weather enthusiasts to store, track, graph and share their weather findings. The software includes HTML templates to help users create their own weather website.
The WeatherLink software enables users to share their weather data by creating a weather watcher report in the NOAA format. Users can also participate in the Citizen Weather Observer Program and the GLOBE Program.
Use the IC7716 mounting tripod for your Davis Vantage Pro2 to make installation even easier.
Brackets at the base of each leg tilt to mount on your roof or uneven terrain. Made of galvanized steel. Includes two 0.92-meter poles, which may be used separately or together to make a single 1.77-meter pole.
