The 798 series are digital calipers with large, easy-to-read, high contrast LCD screen with IP67 protection against coolants, water, chips, dust and dirt.

  • Built with hardened stainless steel with a fine adjustment thumb wheel and lock screw for sliding jaw.

The 798 Electronic Caliper features a large, easy-to-read, high contrast LCD readout. It includes IP67 protection against coolants, water, chips, dust and dirt often found in machine shop environments. Its induction type linear encoder system and Inch/millimetre conversion makes Starrett precision measuring tools the right choice for any job.
This model measures 0 to 8 inches/up to 200 mm with a 0.01mm/0.0005 inch resolution.
