  • The TN400 turbidity meter
  • Four vials of high-molecular polymer turbidity standard solutions (0.02 NTU, 20.0 NTU, 100 NTU, 800 NTU)
  • 10mL bottle of silicon oil
  • Three sample vials
  • A cloth
  • Four AA batteries
  • A screwdriver for opening the battery compartment
  • A rugged, hardshell carrying case with foam moulded insert; and
  • A complete instruction manual.

Key Features of the TN400 Portable NTU Turbidity Meter

  • User-Friendly Smart Functions: Functions include; automatic calibration, operating instructions, automatic power-off, and low voltage display.
  • Intuitive Operation: The extra-large TFT colour screen is easy to read and colour coded with a blue background in measuring mode and green background for calibration mode. On-screen prompts guide measurement and calibration for ease of use.
  • Calibration: The test kit has four sealed vials of polymer turbidity standard solutions (0.02 NTU, 20.0 NTU, 100 NTU, 800 NTU) for easy calibration.  These solutions are EPA approved and primary standards for the calibration of turbidity sensors. They are safe, non-toxic and disposable.  The standard solutions are NIST traceable to particle size/distribution and optical density, with inherent stability to prevent them settling out of suspension.
  • Light Source: The TN400 utilises an ISO7027 compliant infrared light source to perform measurements.
  • High Water and Dust Resistance: The design of the TN400 meets the requirements of IP67 level of protection and is suitable for use in the field and on-site use.
