CANedge1 and CANedge2 loggers are identical, except CANedge2 includes WiFi functionality.

Plug and play: You can log your data standalone, straight out of the box - no PC required.

Pro specs:
- Extractable industrial 8 GB SD card
- 2xCAN/LIN

- Zero data loss 50 µs RTC resolution; and
- MF4 log file format.

Compact & Light: CANedge loggers have an aluminium casing that is only 8 x 5 x 2cm, and each unit weighs only 100g - convenient.

CANEDGE 1: 2x CAN Bus Data Logger

Key features: The CANedge1 plug and play 2xCAN/LIN logger records timestamped CAN data (Classical/CAN FD) to an extractable 8 GB industrial SD card.

Typical use: Ideal for offline logging over extended periods, e.g., a black box CAN logger for OEMs. Use your CAN data to diagnose rare issues, track field usage or even serve as input for issues such as warranty-related disputes.

CANEDGE 2: 2x CAN Bus Data Logger with WiFi
Product code: IC-CANEdge-2

Key features: The CANedge2 2xCAN/LIN logger records timestamped CAN data (Classical/CAN FD) to an extractable 8 GB industrial SD card and will connect via WiFi access points (e.g. WLAN or 3G/4G routers) so you can securely send data to your server.

Data collection is automated, making the CANedge2 an ideal choice where frequent data offload is required. Over-the-air updates make it easy to manage these devices remotely.

Typical use: For automating data collection from fleets of forklifts, cars, trucks, mining vehicles, ships, and other machinery. The data is often used for R&D, diagnostics, predictive maintenance and more.
